2009 has been a terrific year so far. I had my first X-Ray Dog track come out in January on their “Night Hounds” disc. “Andheri” has been very successful, having been picked up for international distribution by Premium Films and placements at many film festivals. “A Work of Art” was picked up at several festivals as well. “Russel Fish” was picked up for its first festival this week – the Palm Springs Film Festival. Finally, my music is featured on a number of episodes of “Party Down,” which has been playing on Starz this month.
Currently, I am beginning work on four short film scores and I have several X-Ray Dog tracks in the works for upcoming releases (May-June).

“A Work of Art” has also now been selected by both Method Fest and Newport Beach Film Festival.
I am wrapping up writing for “Party Down” and looking forward to beginning work on four short films in the next few months.

Both “Andheri” and “A Work of Art” are official selections of Method Fest 2009. Sushrut Jain (“Andheri” director) just returned from the Clermont-Ferrand festival in France. Andheri played each day of the week-long festival to a theater packed with over 1000 festival-goers. It was well-received with crowds forming lines for every showing and answering the film with vigorous applause daily.
2008 was a busy year with ten projects wrapped and several lined up for 2009. Lately I have been writing music for the Starz original program “Party Down,” a comedy from executive producers Rob Thomas (Veronica Mars) and Paul Rudd of Judd Apatow fame, under television composer Josh Kramon (Veronica Mars, October Road).
Finally, I have my first cue featured with X-Ray Dog on their current “Night Hounds” release. The cue is currently the opening title track on my site’s music player, “Last Chance.”
More to come.
